Just Like Daddy!

Braxton was so funny today! I just had to post this too.

Braxton loves to raid our closet. He pulls John's t-shirts off the hangers and throws them on the floor. He takes all of my shoes off of my shoe rack, and usually wears them around for awhile. He tries John's shoes on, but usually gets too frustrated with them, because they are so much bigger. Today however, Braxton found John's "fleep-flops" (aka flip-flops), and came out carrying John's yellow shirt. He wanted to wear it... and here is the result...

My Little Pig

This month Braxton and I went to another Zoo School. The class, "Call of the Wild" was all about the different sounds animals make and why they make them. Each kid in the class got to make a headband - there were several animals to choose from including a tiger, donkey, duck...etc. Braxton chose the pig. He was so adorable in his headband - and the funny thing is that he has been wearing it around the house since then.

I took these pictures of him wearing it... look at him modeling it! Woo-Woo!

The best part of the little headbands was the tail... look at that little curly Q!

After we made the headbands, we went to see the different animals - Braxton got to feed the goats and sheep and he even got to pet the pig! Apparently pigs are even smarter than dogs (according to the zoo helper). The zoo keeper taught the pigs, Monica and Chandler, to touch their noses to a ball after it is thrown. Of course, the reason they do it, is because they get a treat!

Braxton's Room

Yesterday morning I left Braxton in his room to play while I went to finish the dishes. I figured he would dump some of his toys out... he usually does. However, when I came back (I swear it was 5 minutes later!) I was greeted with this.....

Braxton's nearly empty closet......

A very big grin from my sweet little boy (aren't his overalls adorable!?!).....

And the result of being alone for 5 minutes. He took all the books out of his bookshelf, and just dumped the toys from his bins on top of them. At least he stuck to one area of his room... I guess!

Braxton thinks this is great fun, and is now constantly emptying out bins and drawers and shelves. Its enough to send my OCD into over-drive! Luckily, Braxton will help clean up the mess. And then, he does it all over again! :)
