Mascara Anyone?

This morning my visiting teachers came. And while I was listening to the lesson, Braxton went into our room - and shut the door. Normally I don't worry too much about this because he is usually just putting on my high heels. Well today the bathroom door was open. And he got into my makeup - specifically my mascara. This is the end result -

I was laughing so hard when I opened the door and saw Braxton! I just had to show my visiting teacher (she was getting ready to leave). I'm not sure she thought it was as funny as I did, and she may have been surprised that I wasn't upset... and I think Braxton was too! I just couldn't stop laughing! I had a hard time even telling him that this was naughty...
.
Surprisingly he didn't get any on the bed. He did manage to get some on his pajamas, hands and he even managed to get some on his eyelashes.. without a mirror! This boy has skill!
.
The crazy thing is that he has never been able to get the mascara tube open before- so I've never worried about him playing with it. I am usually trying to hide my lipstick from him (he likes to poke his fingers in it)! Guess it goes to show what can happen in 5 unsupervised minutes!

And perhaps, I really do need to make a better effort to get ready before Braxton gets up. I think maybe he has spent a little too much time watching mommy fix her hair and put on her makeup!

Braxton's Birthday

The Invitation:
*This was a grandparents year, so we didn't send invites to the aunts and uncles...

The Cake:
It's Curious George! :) Homemade by me... It's a banana cake (from a recipe - not a box!) with cream cheese frosting.

The Presents:

Braxton wasn't really opening his presents, so Daddy had to step in and help. However, once we got this toy train unwrapped, he decided to use it as a place to sit!

Braxton received a Curious George lunchbox, filled with his favorite thing from Papa and Grandma Billquist's house - Keebler Wheatables. In this picture he is holding a cracker (which we had to open as soon as he saw them!) - so he can only use one hand to unwrap the presents....

We finally got them all unwrapped - and can I just say what a spoiled little boy! He got quite the loot, and I had to spend the afternoon cleaning out old toys to make room for his new ones! And, I swore I would never do it... but I think I'm going to have to make a Toy Room (gasp). Don't worry though - I'm sure I'll recover. :)
